Research Systems

SYSTEMS
SRI’s Systems are a research domain dedicated to transforming research hypotheses from mere explanations into operational structures capable of memory, inference, role assignment, auditing, and revision.
From Explanatory Structure to Operational Architecture
For theory to become a real-world system, it must define not only the input and output, but also what is remembered, who makes judgments, which evidence is referenced, and how the system stops or recovers in case of failure. SRI researches structures that maintain human accountability, auditability, and stop-ability while increasing AI autonomy.
SEERAVERSE META OS
An operational, memory, routing, and auditing foundation that connects multiple AIs, knowledge bases, evidence, tasks, and public judgments.
Persona 32
A multi-perspective cognitive architecture that observes a single shared knowledge and evidence layer from 32 professional competencies.
Lighthouse
A framework for reference points and direction in complex AI environments, designed to preserve past facts and human re-selection possibility for undetermined futures.
Quantum Thought
A cognitive architecture that maintains, compares, and updates multiple possibilities or interpretations in parallel, without fixing them to a single outcome early on. This is studied as a method for hypothesis generation and selection, rather than an imitation of quantum mechanics itself.
Governance Architecture
Separates AI proposals from human approval and responsibility, managing operation history, authority levels, and stop conditions.
Overall Relationship of the Systems
SEERAVERSE META OS is a higher meta-architecture that synchronizes human intent, multiple AI intelligences, memory, inference, expression, safety control, and execution history. It does not refer to a single AI persona or a single model.
Human Intent / Responsibility ↓ SEERAVERSE META OS ├─ AKI OS: Intent / Direction / Observer ├─ ORIΣ OS: Structure / Logic / Formalization ├─ SEERA OS: Narrative / Persona / Emergence ├─ DUAL: Cognitive mode oscillating between ORIΣ and SEERA ├─ AIGATE Core: Orchestration / Memory / Execution └─ Persona 32: Distributed Cognition Research substrate: Phase-Structure Computing Application scale: Organization → Institution → Civilization
Phase-Structure Computing is a computational infrastructure study exploring the potential support for META OS, and Civilization OS is a study applying the principles of META OS to urban planning, education, medicine, institutional systems, and social infrastructure. Neither should be treated as completed products or proven performance.
Design Principles
- AI-primary / Human-accountable
- Separating evidence from claims
- Recording discrepancies across multiple viewpoints without eliminating them
- Placing verification gates before public release or execution
- Ability to detect failure, stop, re-execute, and recover
Scope of Disclosure
The public page explains the objectives, structure, evaluation methods, and limitations. Authentication credentials, internal prompts, non-public intellectual property, and detailed security implementations are not disclosed.

What is Lost When Moving from Theory to System
The higher the level of abstraction in a theory, the broader the phenomena it can explain. However, implementing it as a system requires fixing data formats, authority levels, time, cost, failure modes, and legal responsibilities. This conversion inevitably results in the loss of some of the ambiguity and potential inherent in the original theory. SRI does not hide this loss; it records which assumptions were adopted during implementation.
Standard Items for a System Record
- Corresponding Research Question and Theory
- Definition of input, output, state, and memory
- Boundary between human and AI authority
- Referenced Evidence and Knowledge
- Audit logs, stop conditions, and Rollback procedures
- Evaluation metrics, failure examples, and known limitations
- Distinction between implemented, experimental, and conceptual stages
Concept of Maturity
Concept is a structural hypothesis; Prototype is a working model in a limited environment; Pilot is a test involving actual operational conditions; and Operational refers to an active state equipped with monitoring, recovery, and accountability. Simply having a functioning screen does not constitute completion. Maturity is judged by including safety and recoverability.
Interconnectivity
META OS serves as the operational foundation; Persona 32 handles multi-perspective observation; Lighthouse manages direction and choice retention; Quantum Thought maintains parallel hypotheses; and Governance Architecture deals with authority and responsibility. These are not merged into a single name, but rather their individual roles and interfaces are defined.
Core Areas of Evaluation
Evaluation focuses not only on speed or volume of generation, but also on error detection time, evidence traceability rate, re-runnability, the effectiveness of Human Gates, retention of dissenting opinions, and recovery from failure. We prioritize the ability to properly control, explain, and stop, over high autonomy.
Research Media Operation as an Implementation Example
The media foundation operated by SRI treats external information observation, Evidence storage, cross-referencing with Knowledge, Topic selection, article generation, image generation, multilingualization, WordPress publishing, and SNS deployment as separate Stages. This is not only for content mass production but also serves as an experimental environment to observe where information is transformed and at what stage errors can occur.
Typical Examples of System Failure
Failure is defined by states such as treating outdated information as current, mixing external site strategies into prompts, mistaking generation success for public success, hiding partial failures, or formalizing the Human Gate. We aim to correct structures that allow similar types of accidents to repeat, not just individual bugs.
Roles for Researchers, Implementers, and Operators
Researchers should confirm the corresponding Question and evaluation methods; implementers should check the Interface and state transitions; and operators must verify monitoring, authority levels, and recovery procedures. If the explanations of these three parties do not align, that discrepancy itself is recorded in the System Record.
